Meet Jamie!

Corin sits down with Jamie at Cypress Moon Studios in Sheffield, AL. Jamie’s story opens with some history about the studio’s location and equipment before leading to some stories about his own life and career. 

Growing up in Huntsville, AL, Jamie’s childhood was a mix of suburbs, rural life, a mix of homeschool and public school, and “riding bikes in the neighborhood.” He recalls how his path in music was shaped by his parents and his through ability to get exposure to different genres through public school experiences. 

Looking back, Jamie recounted that in his teens, he noticed he was listening to music in a different way and tells us some of the stories, twists, and unique opportunities that led him to where he is today.
